Needle tips
From left to right: Addi Turbo, Addi Lace, Addi Natura, Clover Bamboo
Addis are too expensive. Anyway, here’s a photo for a comparison of their tips.
Not much knitting info here, but here are some great free patterns I’ve discovered on Ravelry:
Slightly More than Scarf , from Living in Stitches
Spring Cable Socks, from SpaceKnitty
Ribbed Lace Bolero, from 10 Feet High

How do you like the Addi lace?
It looks like the Addi Natura points are halfway between the lace and regular—is that about right? I always feel like I’m fooled by needle tip pics.

love your needle photo. i’m a needle fanatic. seems i buy new ones every week.
have you tried inox express (you can get them from the webs online store). they are cheaper than addis, not quite as sharp as the addi lace but sharper than the regular addis.
also when i want a really sharp needle i buy some clover bamboo ones and carefully sand the tips of them. just rotate the needle on the sandpaper. works like a charm.
